Finding the extraordinary in everyday places and capturing the spirit of our remarkable planet.

I’m a freelance photographer based in Florida’s Tampa Bay Area, specializing in travel, documentary, editorial, and environmental portrait photography.

After studying editorial journalism at San Diego State University and spending a brief time in the field, I discovered my passion for visual storytelling and began freelancing for a small community newspaper in California. Shortly after, I moved to Florida, where I worked for a daily newspaper while continuing to freelance. During that time, I photographed everything from news to, social, and sporting events to business profiles, weddings, families, pets, and products.

In 2009, I followed another lifelong dream and joined the Peace Corps. Stationed in a small village in Armenia, I spent four years working on public health and HIV-related initiatives while photographing the local culture and landscape. After returning to the United States, I earned my Master of Public Health in Global Health from the University of South Florida and later worked with a nonprofit organization focused on reducing HIV and substance use within the community while continuing to photograph people and places.

Today, I combine my passion for photography with a love of travel and human connection. My work focuses on capturing travel experiences, diverse cultures, wildlife, and the stories of small businesses through authentic, meaningful imagery.
